FAQ

What is position sizing?

Position sizing is deciding how many shares to buy based on how much of your account you're willing to lose if a trade goes against you. It's the most important risk-control lever most traders ignore.

What's a sensible risk per trade?

Most professional traders risk 0.5%–2% of their account per trade. 1% is a common default. Risking more than 5% per trade is how accounts get wiped out.
